      • Adoration: The Answer to Deepening your Relationship With Christ

If you have a good friend, or if you're married, then you understand what it takes to maintain a close relationship. Two of the most important ways to deepen your friendship are spending time together and talking frequently.

Jesus Christ is the best friend and the lover of our souls. Yet many of us struggle with the feeling that we don’t truly know who Jesus is, or we don’t sense that we have a personal relationship with Him. To us, He can seem more like a figure from a history book, or a mysterious God-man to whom we know we owe something, but toward whom we don’t feel much in our hearts. Meet Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament to deepen your relationship with Him.

        Eucharistic Adoration Schedule:

        Monday - Thursday at 5 p.m.
        Friday at 8:00 a.m.*

*Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament does not take place during Summer & Winter Breaks

      • "For man is created in the image and likeness of God who is himself love. Since God created him man and woman, their mutual love becomes an image of the absolute and unfailing love with which God loves man."

        - Catechism of the Catholic Church 1604

The guidelines for those looking to be married at the Catholic Center are as follows: you must be currently attending and registered at the Catholic Center as a community member or student, or you or your fiancé must be Catholic and an alumni of the Catholic Center.

    • Liturgical Ministers
      • LECTORS

Ministers of the Word proclaim the word of the Lord to the congregation, drawing the assembly more deeply into the mystery being celebrated. They prepare the readings in advance. They approach the ambo with dignity and reverence, and proclaim the readings in a strong, clear voice.

        USHERS

Ushers are ministers of hospitality who help to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere when others come to worship. They welcome the people who assemble to worship by greeting them as they enter the church. Ushers also distribute hymnals and bulletins, and collect the offering from the community.

        ALTAR SERVERS

The primary role of the altar server is to assist the priest in the celebration of the liturgy during Mass. This is done through specific actions and by setting an example to the congregation by actively participating in the liturgy through their actions, singing of hymns, and responses with the people.

If you are interested in joining or learning more about any of these ministries, then please call the Catholic Center at 802-862-8403 or email us at [email protected], or speak to a staff member after Mass.
