Book of Intentions
There is a book located in the back of the chapel for you to write your intentions in. Please consider stopping by during the week to write your intentions and pray silently in our chapel.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament—Wednesdays 7:30–8:30 p.m. & Fridays 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
What is Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament? The Sacred Host is placed in a monstrance on the altar for all of us to come and pray silently in the presence of Jesus. This is a beautiful way to be close to Our Lord and know that He is here with us to hear our prayers and receive our praise. Please consider taking some time on Wednesday evenings for silent prayer before Our Lord.
Study Rooms
Do you need a quiet, comfortable place to study? The Catholic Center has one of the best kept secrets on campus…a quiet study room with comfy chairs and wireless internet access. We also have coffee and snacks available for study breaks. If you need to get out of the dorms, don’t want to walk to the library, consider stopping into The Catholic Center, “a home away from home” to study.
Student Registration
All students enrolled at UVM and Champlain College are encouraged to register online and be put on our mailing list and listserv. You will be notified each week of upcoming events at The Catholic Center. You can also check our online calendar to find out more about upcoming activities.
Prayer for vocations, seminarians, & the university community
At the end of each Mass, we pray three Hail Mary’s for the ministries entrusted to our care: an increase in holy vocations to the priesthood & consecrated life, the seminarians of The Diocese of Burlington, and the students, faculty & staff at UVM & Champlain College.
