We would like to extend an invitation to our students and your families and alumni to join us for Mass at 10:00 am on Sunday, October 5.

The Most Reverend Salvatore R. Matano will be the main celebrant and homilist at Mass.

Following the Mass, there will be a Pancake Breakfast.  We look forward to meeting all of your families.

For those of you who are not able to join us in the morning, we will also have Mass at 7:00 pm & 9:00 pm Sunday.

All studies are being held at The Catholic Center; look for updated Bible study times and locations in the near future!

READERS - If you are interested in reading at Mass and could not make the Lector Workshop last week, please drop us an e-mail at catholic@uvm.edu for more information.

ALTAR SERVERS - If you are interested in being an Altar Server at Mass, drop us an e-mail at catholic@uvm.edu to review the procedures.

CHOIR - If you have an interest in joining the 7pm choir, please contact Stephanie Hahn Nolan, our Music Director.  We are always hoping to cover all four vocal parts.  We encourage you to seriously consider whether you might contribute “something beautiful for God” on a regular basis.  Returning singers, please spread the word, and bring new singers.  Rehearsals begins at 5:30 pm on Sundays.  There is no extra rehearsal each week.  Please contact Stephanie with any questions at shnstudio@yahoo.com

HOSPITALITY- Do you enjoy baking? If so, consider joining this ministry on Sunday evenings.  We are looking for people to help bake cookies and greet people before the evening Masses on Sunday.  If interested, please drop us an e-mail catholic@uvm.edu

CATHOLIC CENTER DINNER - Monday, October 6, 7:30 pm

Join us the first Monday of each month for a FREE home-cooked meal.

SALVATION ARMY DINNER - Thursday, October 9

We are looking for students to help cook and serve dinner at The Salvation Army.  We will be cooking on Wednesday, October 9 at 2 pm.  We will be serving at Slavation Army at 4:30 pm.  If you would like to help cook and/or serve, please sign up in the lounge.

RETREAT AT NOTRE DAME DE VIE- Friday, October 16-Sunday, October 18

We will be taking a group of students to a weekend retreat in Canada next month.  Space is limited, please sign up early!

Students, are you interested in learning more about our Catholic Faith?  Would you like to be Baptized, recieve First Holy Communion and/or be Confirmed?  Please e-mail catholic@uvm.edu or contact Katie or Father Dan for more information.  The class will meet on Tuesdays at 7:30 pm and Wednesdays at 3:00 pm.
